Yes I know, but I avoid the stores and such as much as possible this time of year. I have to wait until the kidlettes get home from preschool, before I can go any where else.

yes, it is brutal out there in the stores now.
My mom is very crippled and lives out of state
and i just got back from visiting with her.

Now that i am not there with her to protect her
she has to go to the stores alone
and she has to use an electric scooter
and said that while she was in walmart yesterday
crazed, frantic people were running in front of her
epecially this time of year...it is so hard to
manuever those dinosaurs let alone when people are
jamming right in front of you.

it is not the best time of year to be shopping
and yet this should be the most pleasant and loving

Yes, the stores are crazy, and full of nuts. Not whole nuts, but chopped nuts. They don't know which way they are going. I wish one year to have my shopping done by Halloween.

It is really hard with kids though because they always seem to change what they want in the last couple of weeks, and clothes bought in the summer for them never seem to fit in December.

I'm new here, but you guys impress me. I like that everyone is so nice. I thought I should never do something like this, but so far so good.

yea, it is so expensive to buy nice children's clothing
and they grow so very quickly and outgrow everything so fast

when my kids were small i would make some of their clothing
or they had 'hand me downs' from the other children in our church and i also bought things that were too big and hemmed them so they would last longer.
Now, with my grandchildren, i try to shop more of the warehouse stores or wait for sales online...
