We all tell the truth here? That’s news to me.

I’ve always dated younger men but it just happened that way, it wasn’t planned.

I am now dating someone my own age for the first time but I don’t think I could date anyone older than me. Especially not 10 years older.

Happy New Year Rosie. drinker

There are two things that determine who you can date. Yourself and another person willing to enter into the social construct known as dating. (It's seldom I get to use terms like "social construct"laugh)

Thank you so much. It’s wonderful and I’m still in disbelief that someone this sweet has come into my life.

Retirement homes are loaded with women who are older than you.

What I have taken from this thread is that the old adage that "age is just a number" might be true.....but it's a number that matters to a lot, if not most, people. Everyone has preferences, I respect the preferences of others even if I feel those preferences are unrealistic.

Personally I prefer to date women who are smart enough to not date me....it presents me with quite a perplexing quandary!!! frustrated laugh

You can't always get what we want
But if you try sometimes
You might find
You get what we need!!!
That would make great lyrics for a song!!! tongue2

I was joking, I always get what I need, even if it's not what I wanted. I'm very grateful for that happy

I plan to live to be 100 so there's still time for the other laugh

I plan on living until tomorrow and tomorrow I'll plan on living until the next day.....but I have planned financially to live well past that point.

I have a different MO. Learn from the past, live for today and plan for the future. Doing so has served me well.

Yes, I agree! Planning to live a long time doesn't mean not living for today.
