I am writing this for everyone but I want those that I may have offended in the religious thread to know what I was trying to say and failing, I believe.

I am going to use the word Politically Correct but I really do not care for this phrase, I prefer to just call it respect.


Political correctness in the dictions
you do not know why you should
you know you are right in your convictions
they will see your side, if only they would

You feel it strips you, makes you feel raw
Defending yourself, when there is no call
For you are right for yourself, and for all
In your world you stand righteous and tall

You are looking in at yourself and your world
Change your view and look out at the world around you
Just because it means this to you, should
others have to convert to your view?

It is outside your box, this is true
it feels foreign, strange and unknown
But it is a gift to those unlike you
respect of their life and value is shown

Respect and political correctness is to be
considerate to all, not the few like you
Remember you give love, respect and free
others to be as you, brave, strong and true





I hope this helps. I try to be respectful of all so I leave noone out of my good will and good wishes. Much hope of love and happiness, warmth and closeness for all no matter what holiday you are celebrating. I would name them all but I do not know all of them. So Please accept my holiday wishes for all as they are heartfelt and true.

I am glad slow I get caught up in the facts and rhetoric and sometimes I just lose sight of the original intent and that is respecting all above all else. Thanks makes me feel a little better

Respect of others life and value in this life is the ultimate goal. This world is so large with so many human brothers and sisters and to respect them all is no easy feat but it should be attempted at all costs for the brotherhood and sisterhood of the human race.

Dragon, that was very well stated whether it be poetry or not...no one should have to try to convert you on your beliefs. My views are my views and your views are your views. We're all different and nobody can change that. You stand up for your rights and don't get pushed down by it. I wasn't offended to whatever it was you commented on, but hey, everybody has their opinion and beliefs. The BS about PC...is just that. It goes to show that we are turning into a communistic country where others trying to be free. So much debate, I need to be on a debating team. Oh well, I am sorry I took up so much space, but like I said, stay strong in your beliefs.

Thanks guys for your words I do not agree. Political correctness is respect in my eyes and should be given no matter how slighted one feels about it. Offending others should never be the goal of self expression. I do understand if one does not realize and makes a mistake once and is told that it is disrespectful but intentional disrespect should never be, at least not for me. But, I may be over expecting from those around me, I suppose. I want others to be a free and loving spirit like me and maybe that is expecting too much. I guess we all have disappointments to overcome I will just continue on doing what I do and hopefully, I pray, I never offend you
