That is an open question with too many undefined parameters. If you already have a deep relationship with someone and you must be apart for a period of time, I believe this can work. However, I do not believe that absence makes the heart grow fonder. I do believe if you are not careful it can make the heart go wonder. If you mean can you fall in love long distance and make it work. No, I do not believe that happens. You can maintain acquaintances fairly easily long distance and you can get infatuated over long distance. For love to grow and be maintained, I do believe that takes personal contact. And by personal contact I’m not talking about sex; though that may play a role.
