Why does this site allow profilers to alter their date of birth?
It seems to me that once you enter that info it should be permanent. I feel that folks alter their age so they can get around the age restrictions others have placed on who they want to be contacted by. I have been messaged by 30 year olds and when I questioned the fact their profile age did not match their pic they admit they are not 59 but 30. They just wanted to communicate with me. There is so much lack of respect on this site of members manipulating things to contact others who clearly do not want to be contacted by them. |

You can just simply ignore or delete their message if they are not your type..

Your suggestion would be unfair to those who make an honest mistake on their profile with no way to correct/update/modify...even the adoption of your suggestion would not guarantee you will not receive a message from someone whose profile is misleading... as Angel stated, members can delete, ignore or block others...and also have the option to set filters to screen incoming messages... Not a perfect world here...but very good imo... |
