What do you do with your Anzac poppyy/s after Anzac Day
Here's a thought... Do a photo shoot with a bikini made entirely out of Anzac Poppys. As for what I would do? Smoke them? |

Hadda look it up; The red poppy has become a symbol of war remembrance the world over. People in many countries wear the poppy to remember those who died in war or who still serve. In many countries, the poppy is worn around Armistice Day (11 November), but in New Zealand it is most commonly seen around Anzac Day, 25 April.

If you have any loved ones from wars you might decorate their picture frame or put them on their page of a scrapbook?
You could go to a war memorial and place a small wreath of them on the unknown soldier memorial. |

Never heard them being called Anzac Poppies before.
Learn something new everyday. We call them Remembrance Poppies here in the U.K. I remember doing an art project at school where held a collection for peoples used Poppies after Remembrance Sunday. We collected hundreds from around the area to make a huge battle scene collage out of them, so there is certainly an artistic precedent for putting them to other uses. : ) I shouldn't imagine anyone would take offence if they used in a tasteful way, and I for one would certainly like to see what you plan to do with them. |

To use Anzac poppies to decorate my bikini with .. I had to buy more than one What do you do with your Anzac poppyy/s after Anzac Day In Canada, the poppy is worn on the left lapel.. After the events of the day, one could leave the poppy at a cenotaph, add it to another wreath there; leave it at the base of a flagpole.. I've got dozens of poppies on a wall, as I buy a couple each year and stick them to the wall at the end of the day.. My dad was a Veteran. I made a remembrance shadow box of him, and used momentos and put poppies in the corners.. I think wearing them on a bikini would not be a good idea. |
