Privacy to me is respecting boundaries. Never force anything on anyone.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Privacy? Leave others alone, when they want to be left alone? But be there when they need you

I agree. Because that's ultimately avoiding conflict. And conflict tends to take away from getting things done constructively as most things can be accomplished alone, without having to train strangers. Make friends and help each other
How can we help each other while still making friends? I mean there are billions of people on the planet. I randomly encounter in my general sightline hundreds to maybe thousands of people a day. So...which people do I actively try to make friends with? How do I determine which are best able, capable, and/or willing to actually reciprocate friendship, as well as help me with what I need help with, all while avoiding the risk of them screwing me over or using me to help them to my loss? Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Sweet! Next hot chick I see I am going to grab her, fondle her, and shove my tongue down her throat...because that's ultimately what I want hot chicks to do to me. And if any of them say "no" or I end up in front of a judge...well, I'll just use the golden rule defense. Most of the crap sayings and platitudes and well wishes of happiness are ultimately dependent upon "common sense" driving them. Unfortunately "common sense" is primarily influenced by shared culture. Norms, traditions, rules that everyone follows and takes for granted. Can't really have that in a multicultural diverse melting pot where people idealize non conformance. Good luck with that! |
