I agree Nicki I think they need to change this whole auto lock thing. Where I came from, the 'other' place, threads only went 15 pgs and the Mods locked them, then the started new ones. this is gonna get to confusin with it cont.. on and on and on...

I agree Nicki I think they need to change this whole auto lock thing. Where I came from, the 'other' place, threads only went 15 pgs and the Mods locked them, then the started new ones. this is gonna get to confusin with it cont.. on and on and on... They are being continued on what looks like a random basis. So I'm not what they are doing. Could be a one time thing, we'll just have to wait and see.

Hi folks, Just a quick FYI - we added a feature today where topics that are longer than 50 pages will now autolock and continue in a new topic. We had to do this to minimize our server load: long topics put a strain on our database. The last post in the old topic wll have a little "continued at this topic" link, and the first post in the new topic will also have a link back to the old topic. Just wanted to let everyone know about the change in case you were confused. Thanks, and hope you are all enjoying the site! Mike that to me says its gonna be every forum that is 50 pgs long..or am I just not understanding it right?
