That's a tough thing to do, someone needs to at least go to the store. There's also respite workers who can come in and stay with her if you want to go out for the day. Depends on if her insurance covers it though.

Doubt it does. I don't know what to do. Just lucky she didn't get hurt. Last time it happened was on our way to buffalo and she fell stepping off the sidewalk at Cracker Barrel. We were blessed other people helped bandage her up and got her off the ground, because I couldn't then either. Makes me feel pretty useless I no longer have the strength to do much.

Does she have a walker? I don't remember if she was using a walker or cane.

Hell, I couldn't even get dad up when he fell... Try not to feel bad about that. It's not easy to help someone up, even the CNA's that are trained sometimes have difficulties and it takes two people to do it.

She has both. She only uses the walker when she goes to bed because sometimes she wakes up and a leg will be numb, or she doesn't feel steady, and when ya wake up and have to go, you have to GO.... lol

Good, don't like it when it gets cold I bought hair color before I got here and didn't want to have to pack it, so I just used it. It's too dark
