Morning Dub
I've been to Ohare, don't think I'd want to spend the night there either. Years ago my brother, sister, and I spent the night in the Atlanta airport... I was a kid so it was fun back then I just couldn't see spending so much money on a motel when I got there late and had to get up so early, seems a waste of decent money just for a bed. Although for safety reasons, it's probably worth it. Spending the night in Denver works out better, I can enjoy the amenities as well as the bed. |

Afternoon Delightful
It's pretty cold there! Today is supposed to get up to 40 degrees, but it still snows in March and sometimes in April. April forecast is closer to the 50's and about 5 days total of rain. When I lived in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan the summer season only lasted around a month, that's about 66 miles North of Mackinac Island. Mackinac Island should be a little longer for summer because it's on Lake Michigan rather than Lake Superior. Superior is much colder so brings in colder air and more lake effect weather. I still need to get the motel, clean my room, and pack... Not too much. Next week I'll be working extra hours though, so my time's limited. |

Good afternoon Larsi... sleep walking? Hi Pisces Dunno. Sleep walking without even sleeping? |
|
|
|
Yeah, that would be difficult. I only sleep walked once, as far as I know. I was a young teenager living with my Aunt and Uncle. Got up after a couple hours and went outside to get into the car. I don't remember any of it, my Aunt told me about it.

OOF!!! |

OOF!!! Lol, doesn't sound like much fun. I thought about that as far as staying in a hotel with the connecting flights, and the getting back and forth, plus going through security in Dallas or Chicago... all seemed a nightmare. A few of the hotels have a free shuttle. Best Western is probably where I'll stay. I just need to call and double check to see how easy it will be to get back and forth. And find out if the shuttle I take from here will drop me off at the hotel or take me directly to the airport. |

You're welcome...
Now remember, if you end up in Lake Michigan. The ferry took a wrong turn. That would be an Arnold Line ferry mistake. Shepler's and Star ferries don't make that mistake. Unless you happen to be on one of Shepler's ferry, that takes the swing under the bridge. Then you end up in Lake Michigan temporarily. |
