Revenge of the Stepford Wives is a 1980 American made-for-television science fiction-thriller film inspired by the Ira Levin novel The Stepford Wives. It was directed by Robert Fuest with a screenplay by David Wiltse and starring Sharon Gless, Julie Kavner, Don Johnson, Arthur Hill, and Audra Lindley. It is the first in a series of sequels inspired by the 1972 novel and the original 1975 film The Stepford Wives. A TV reporter arrives in Stepford to do a story on the American town with the lowest crime and divorce rates and the tightest real-estate market (no one ever leaves). She needs an assistant, and after interviewing the seemingly-plastic women of Stepford, jumps at the chance to hire the down-to-earth Megan, who's married to a newly-hired cop who hasn't yet moved into the town. Four times a day a siren sounds and every woman in town takes a pill (they each claim it's a thyroid condition). Lara seeks solace with a mysterious dog she names Thunderwith that appears from time to time on the property. The dog seems to the girl to be a link to her beloved mother and an important companion. The story concentrates on the relationship between mother Gladwyn and stepdaughter, as Lara is slowly accepted into the family. I just noticed Youtube has moved a bunch of $1.99 movies to Free status.
There are 3 classifications of movies at Youtube Movies. Buy or Rent Free w/ads Free This is the link for Epoch Free w/ads. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0daSW8vQ5Y If you load the video, then look the related videos, you see all three types but most of them are free w/ads or Free. These are full-length movies. I never see ads on youtube because I have adblock. If you get ads, FF the movie to right before the end and then replay it. I'm told that works to get rid of ads too.
