Topic: trantulas as pets | |
---|---|
Anyone in here raising any trantulas? Thinking buying a few, but I'm interested in talking with anyone that has some experience with them... The first few I'm looking at are the Trinidad Olive, gooty blue, and a Mexican tiger rump... Please post anything you know about caring for them please..

I had one years ago, looked a lot like your picture of the Trinadad.
Sorry moe, I don't remember much other than he really liked small lizards. He was pretty docile and tame. I'd let him crawl up my arm, it would freak my sister out, but he never bit me. |

They're cool to watch. My sister was taking care of mine when I went out of town and it burned up in her house fire so I didn't have it for very long. |

aww, sorry about the fire losses... Yea, they're most active when feeding, interesting how good they are at catching bugs Thanks! Yes, very interesting. Mine was really fast and it seemed to pounce on it's prey. Well hope it goes well for you when you do get some. |

The blue is stunning. But I'm a catch & release person, so no clue on pet advice.
