It was great.
I've been talking more with the staff here and there are more pros to transferring here. They have a daily shuttle in the summer that takes you into town. I need to talk to HR about housing. If they separate the age groups I will consider it more. I love it here, was walking around early this morning and it's really nice. There's mountains all around, like it's encircling the place and the resort is in somewhat of a canyon in the center. Oh, and there seems to be a lot more people around my age here too. |

Cool.. hope it all works out. Enjoy your day!

Cool.. hope it all works out. Enjoy your day! Thanks Stu. I'm rethinking the whole roommate thing. Not sure having three roommates is going to work for me. Having one was difficult enough. Although when I saw the deer walking around the campus and so close to the buildings, it might be worth the lack of sleep and privacy for 4 months. |

Sounds like you got more thinking to do..

Yes, and the manager here at Snow Mountain wants me to stay here. I wasn't sure with the problems if they would want me to, but it was me causing the problem.
It's nice to have options. |

Yes, options are good, sometimes.
In your case I'd say yes. Mine, not so much. |

The shuttles are great! (often crowded, sometimes hiker stinky...but) There are many trailheads which are only accessible via bus anyway. Parking is a Mofo. It is so nice to be dropped of at the lakes, streams, waterfalls, trails, etc...and not have to worry about others logistics when you are all beat yet enchanted. Plus just meeting excited people from all over the world is exquisite. Can you tell which way I am hoping you decide? |

|
Yes, I can tell
The only factor that is making me think twice is the housing situation. Not sure about being crammed in a small room with three other women. Although, it's only four months, and I seriously doubt I'd be spending much time in my room anyways. |

In all honesty, I understand the "space" thing. Despite the male backlash, I don't think I would like to be crammed into a room with three women for four months either lol.

That's a lot of emotions, lol. Here at Snow Mountain they try to give anyone over 40 their own room, but sometimes you have to have one roommate. That makes more sense to me. These rooms are really small, even two people makes it difficult to move around, or get any sleep if you aren't on the same schedule. I'm not a lot of fun to be around when I'm sleep deprived. |
