Shouldn't ceibacy be a common denominator amoung Christians, who date before marriage? If you yeild to sex and then the person flees without marriage, have you sinned, even though you were in love and may be even engaged?

biblically, the only sexual activity clearly sanctioned is sex between husband and wife. Fornication is a sin, although the Bible does not clearly define fornication, it is something other than adultery or other 'sexual sin' as all three are listed together as separate things many times in the Bible.

I do believe also that there is no concept of 'engagement' in the Bible. People are promised to each other or they arent.

I believe it is a sin if it happens before God has become a part of the relationship.

Matthew 1:18 kjv. Speak of espoused, Which is engagement.

Christians get a required legal marriage license.

Many times we forget about in which culture all those laws happened. When you are married by God? When the pastors merried you or when God merried you? I think God, because God has married Adam and Eve. So it is for me when the two of us kneels before God with a sincere heart. And ask God if it is his will,and God will answered you. Knowing God love you cannot do evil.

If a person lives in USA, and you get married you have to get a marriage license by law! Unless you live in a common law states, which are few,then you can be common law married after 7 years. However God doesn't recognize common law marriage.

And also any preacher can married me for God asept my bride. When God has merried Adam and Eve,was there priest? Then give God wat is God and the world what is from the world.

We not under the law, but under Grace! Man could not follow the law, sinned and the priests made sacrifices to God for man's sins in the Old testament.

God sent his son, Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of man. Jesus paid our sin debt in full! No more sacrifices!

I Know the Believers are to follow the Moral laws, however, without the power of the Holy Spirit we can not do it. But by keeping our Faith in Jesus alone and what he did at the Cross we can. Message of the Cross is the gospel.

We all sin, Jesus is our advocate to God. He alone made the sacrifice, that is the plan of salvation God instituted.
