Like it isn't hard enough..ya have to throw in something like age..another stressor..lol..I think at certain ages we look for different things..when you're young it's "are they hot" when you get older it's "are they breathing"...

Age matters in what you expect from a relationship and the future of it. When you want to grow old with someone, you need to be of similar ages; if you are just looking for someone to date and enjoy some fun things together, then the age difference is irrelevant.

I believe there are a couple of problems with your theory. Women do mature earlier than men so to have a similar maturity, the woman would be younger not older. As for the sexual part, women do tend to peak sexually at a later age, they also tend to decline much faster than men.

i have a problem I'm 62 but don't look it so I'm perceived as I'm lying about my age for what reason I don't know ladies think I'm 45/48 ish that's ok but why would I say I'm 62 for what gain beats me I find dating so hard save me please x

How Old Are You?

I hate to say it, but for the most part, this is true. I've had people to ask me why I hardly ever date a woman my age or up. On the sexual end of it, most of the ones that I've known can't keep up with me. That's why this younger man wanting to date someone older doesn't make sense to me.

When I was like around 22, a breeze could blow just right and I was ready to go. A woman of 35 to 45 never even hit my radar. I can still remember men of 35 to 50 that would complain to there friends about how their wives just weren't interested anymore. I don't mean to be disrespectful or trying to say they all are that way. Many women do hit there peak before men do. I have seen as much as 20 years before a man does.

I don't care much about age, she can be a lot younger than me or a lot older, I'm 57
