These are forums, not chat rooms. Example: where you ppsted this question, is the help forum. There aren't live chat rooms. Just clarifying to help answer.
If someone has posted in the forums, you will see the profile or deactivated. The only other possibility might be if you clicked on a post from a long time ago and the member left, the site could have purged the account. But that wouldn't be a recent poster |

There is no live chat rooms and has never been live chat rooms. This site has always used forums, like this. The closest there was here was IM but that was disabled a while ago. You are on another site which would explain why it says user not found here.
