Oh, and a question about that protein formula body weight x 2 = amount in grams to be consumed on a training day.

How much should I be consuming on non-training days?

Sorry, for double post, but another question popped into my head.

I do 30 min. cardio first, then 1 hr. of lifting. If I cut out the cardio, will that help me get large, rather than ripped?

everyday you should be consuming the same amount.

everyones body can grow. but you will reach a point, "genetic potential" this is when you have to turn to other means to grow. that is another story. but yes your body can only grow so much naturally.

HIIT is a great program. but diet is most important when tryin to shed bodyfat. a buddy of mine will not do any cardio when he is preparing for a show because his diet is right on. but you'd need a nutrionist for that and that cost some money lol.. any ways diet should be 5-6 meals a day.. a clean diet!! this helps speed up your metabolism again, he can look online for examples of diets and or food. another diet that would good for you both is called the MACROBOLIC DIET that is the same source i follow. it will work wonders. you can google it or buy books on it. my nutrionist has set me up on it for the last 2 years and i come into a show near perfect everytime.

like i said before cardio is fine. just dont over do it maybe cut it to 3-4 times a week you need to stay healthy cardiovascular wise.. cardio bring oxgyen in the muscle fibers which helps with atrophy and will help you grow. so yes do cardio just dont cut it out completely

Great, I will refer him to HIIT. You're right, there's lots of information on it by doing a simple Google search.

So, should I cut the amount of time I do on cardio?

20 mins should be efficent.. 30 wouldnt hurt you.

Great, but I'm under the impression that I shouldn't intensify it it if I'm trying to gain weight. I'm not going for the "cut" look. I want the "mass" look.

I'm experiencing an increased heart rate even while at idle. I've been on N.O. Xplode for 5 days. Is this a side-effect of N.O. Xplode? I took it about 7 hours ago, so I don't know why I'm getting it now.

I'm also just stressed, so that could be it too...

like i said just do cardio for cardiovascular purpose. you will only lose muscle if you are doing mass amount of cardio, 90 mins a week will not hurt you.

NO-explode does give you a surge, but shouldnt last after 7hr period of time.. stress could be the colprit, could be something else. but training should help bring your stress level down, give it another couple days and see how you feel..

were you like this before starting the NO?

No, but I was usually only using 1 scoop, even on non-training days.

Today was a non-training day, and I used one scoop. But on training days I've been using 2 scoops. Yesterday was the second time I used 2 scoops.

If it happens again tomorrow, I'll assume 2 scoops is the culprit.
