As our hearts moved closer to each other I held her hand in mine and was blinded by the glow of her eyes. Our hearts were beating faster and faster as if in a race with each other. And then our lips met and kissed and for a brief moment in time I was happy.

What I find so mysterious about kissing, is how it can indeed be as rustykitty and scepticalsoulmate so entrancingly describe...when one is with the right person, and when the emotions between them are as they should be. But how, when those emotions are damaged or fail, the same kiss, from the same person, can become a stiff exercise in empty frustration. It's not all a matter of technique, in other words. Yes no need for technique as your feelings rule over the act itself. If feelings are equal it is more than an act, more than an experience as it shooks us from our core

Great job on this topic everyone. I love those moments leading up to the first kiss. Then hopefully you kiss and you see fireworks ( see Bobby Brady) as I did. Then hopefully it's a soft, wet kiss that lasts for four days. Take care.

If you melt, are aroused, and are breathless, and your heart all alflutter upon being kissed.. that is special. Not all kissers are created equal.. just sayin If the kiss is not right, neither is the man for you! It could also be the right kiss but not the right man. And does anybody really like a wet sloppy kiss?

a look in the eye....you are the most amazing person I have had the good fortune to lay my eyes upon!!!! a stroke from cheekbone to chin lightly with the back of 1st and 2nd fingers a gentle guiding pull of chin to meet lips a soft peck with slight nibble on lower lip the same look as the first one

I know this phenomenon. A very talented partner can even keep you so drugged with those kisses, you don’t even realize they were standng on your heart the whole time they were kissing you.
