hmmmm... take the duck over, leave it there while he gets the dog, then bring the duck back with him and leave it while he takes the corn, then go back and get the duck? Can he do that?
Well that just 3 "more" trips, but the question suggested 3 trips total. So I don't know if it's right or not. |

A man wants to take a two mile trip, and average 60 mph.
The first mile, he only goes 30 mph. How fast will he have to go in the second mile to average 60 mph for the whole trip. Well as far as I can tell it's impossible. To travel 1 at 30mph would take two min's. To average 60mph over 2 miles would also take 2 min's. So the second mile would have to be completed instantaneously. |
