Not so far from where I stand
a mirror reflects the view of one who thought he had a plan a Man, so sure He knew Just beyond my line of sight such confidence did gleem dancing on the pale moonlight it played inside my dream Lifting me to places high above all I could reach then let me go, so I did fly to soar above the breach on that wind I found a ride o'er the world below a raging current I did glide to where, I do not know for as I look back in this glass wondering where He went He who had those balls of brass the one who, could not dent For time did dash His plans of Hope of Valor, Heart and Pride Left Him with no will to cope just empty, cold inside Waiting, longing, for the one who might ignite the fire sifting through the left behind rekindling His desire Are you there, upon that wind that breeze that brought me here ever drawing, closer in and drifting oh so near If it is you, please take my hand pull me from the dry keep the air, no do not land just lift, and let me fly Teach me again.......TO FLY.
