Thank you, I listen to my gut when I interact, I also look for broken English, grammar and words that just do not ring true.
Thank you though for the advice and reminder, it is appreciated. |

Thank you so much. I will add that. I want someone upbeat and proactive and makes things happen. So far I don't think anyone real has mailed me on this site. It's all been scammers unfortunately. I am hoping there are some real people to meet in Georgia.

I agree with delightfulillusion. I'd like to add that it's nice to see you're so devoted to your daughter. If I were a woman who was considering dating you, I would want to know if you would be as attentive to me when we're on a date. One could assume so, but maybe add a little more about that, and if you desire the same in return as far as undivided attention.
Welcome and good luck to you. Oh, and if you stick around the forums, you'll have a better chance of meeting more genuine people. |

I like the forums and just added a little note about a day at the pool with my daughter where we saved a little three striped honey bee from drowning. She's my number 1 priority. I won a free cruise this spring and took her on it with me. We had a blast though it was beach and pool everyday even though I wanted to take her on the excursions. She's a nature girl and loves animals so we were running around looking at fish and feeding iguanas it was a blast.
Thank you both! |

I think it's cool that you're in the Keys. I want to retire down there someday. We rent a house in Marathon on the ocean every summer.
Thank you so much! |

You're welcome again!
Yes, it's pretty nice down here. I'm house sitting in Duck Key right now. So did the house you rent withstand the hurricane? |

Yes I believe it did. It's very close to Sombrero Beach and it has new listings up last time I checked. We can kayak over to the beach in about 5 or 10 minutes and there is all kinds of wildlife there. My daughter is constantly giving fruit to the iguanas or water to the manatees from the house. Just a way cool experience. We had a loggerhead come up after our chum bag 2 years ago as we had squid in it. It's awesome down there.

Marathon got hit pretty bad. That's a good sign if it's being listed. Sombrero Beach was hit pretty hard as well. I road by it a month ago, it's barely recognizable. But there's plenty of crew workers out there working long hours to restore it, so hopefully it will be in good shape next time you visit.
The wild life down here is amazing. Although most locals discourage feeding iguanas. They are extremely invasive and destructive, plus they can be aggressive when food is around. They carry salmonella in their saliva, so it's best to take care and avoid them. |

Yep knew about that. They had a freeze a few years back and I remember dogs were eating the dead ones and passing away. I also let her catch a shark every summer (a nurse) so when she goes back to school and they ask what she did she gets that cool answer. We love the birds down there as well. Someday I want to move down and live there. It's just a different way of life.. I came down in 2008 or 2009 a week after a hurricane had hit. The residents had all their belongings on the street. It was sad but they were so thankful the tourists came anyway. My favorite place in this country..

I remember that freeze, it was sad for a lot of the wildlife.
The damage from this last hurricane was outrageous, the amount of debris along side the road, and piles of sand, was unbelievable. They're still cleaning it all up. We still have boats and parts of homes along side the road as well. Sounds like you're giving her a great experience with nature, that's really cool. |

I try every year we seem to outdo ourselves with a pet. For the last couple of years it has been a female praying mantis. I had a modern day charlottes web going on in my room.
This weekend I have her and we are going out on a boat striper fishing. She's way excited for that and so am I to share it with her. |
