My last relationship was with a 19 year old guy. I’m 22. He already treated me as if I was a cougar lol.
A lot of younger guys on the forums here from 18 years old or so also do that. We differ only in 4 years of age and they still look at me as if I’m a cougar. It’s pretty upsetting sometimes. Makes me feel old. |

Eighteen year olds are wet behind the ears and have no experience in life. Barely out of high school. At 22 you have 4 years of experience on them and while it may not seem a lot it's enough to display lack of maturity on their part. When I left for college I felt my parents were backwards. When I graduated it was amazing how much "they" had learned in that four years. |

I remember as a man in my 20s I went to a dating group at my church. There was a bit of hesitation on my part to even go. But I thought it rather interesting that 2 ladies that were 2 times my age almost fought over me. I never pursued them because a lot of people thought it seemed too weird for me to even think about it. The more I think about it now, I wish I had tried to date them.

My last girlfriend was a liitle older. She started getting sick..she was having a hard time remembering things they tried medicine the told me there was nothing they could do finally we took her to a specialist in Cleveland Ohio they told us being she was 105 that dementia was starting to set in.. her family never accepted me they said I was after her money(not true).. eventually her and I learn to live with her disability.. she has since passed and I'm now traveling abroad...I miss that dear Ol gal

I think that emotional compatibility is not based on biological age alone, although it is a better indicator than most other things.
If a man and woman are compatible and 'grown' age difference really shouldn't matter. It matters to me because I have children and a potential mate would be a potential stepfather, so the difference in their age and my child is important. Otherwise, younger man/older woman, or younger woman/older man ... if they are compatible ,, I say go for it. Yes I appreciate what u think dear. thank you so much for great word |
