It depends on the two people involved. My wife was five years older than me when we married, and we had a very happy marriage with three children, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She died just two months short of our 60th Wedding Anniversary. I miss her so much but I would never consider marrying again. Rob

I think that emotional compatibility is not based on biological age alone, although it is a better indicator than most other things. If a man and woman are compatible and 'grown' age difference really shouldn't matter. It matters to me because I have children and a potential mate would be a potential stepfather, so the difference in their age and my child is important. Otherwise, younger man/older woman, or younger woman/older man ... if they are compatible ,, I say go for it.

I was with a lady 6 years ago I was 32 she was 48, summer romance was a very nice time,I could just relax with her and talk for hours on end about anything and we had so much in common.But yea her son was a few years younger than me.

woaw I love this topic. my take on this, younger men goes for older women simply bcos they found rest of mind in them, no nagging, no cheating, no time for mismanagement of funds, they 're ca ring, loving and ready to take you to the next level. I love to meet one who will love me for who I am.
