Topic: How does a woman know if a man's just outgoing or wants to m | |

There's this man at a small restaurant that has been really friendly when I come in. Today I stopped in, and although we didn't talk a lot, he kept looking at me. Should I just flat out ask him if he's interested or what? We've talked some before, but...to me, it's confusing. Help! Thanks.

I would strike up a conversation with him, find something you have in common like fishing or peeling paint and invite him out.

I don't think I would ask him if he is interested. I would just ask him if he'd like to join you for a cup of coffee or something. If he says yes, than he probably is.

Offer to buy him a cup of coffee and strike up a conversation. Then you shall know.

Fishing or peeling paint? Interesting ideas. Creativity is best!

All depends on the guy. We males are many times usually dense. We don;t "read between the lines" very well and aren't usually to good at hints. So my own advise would be find a subtle way, but let him know you are interested in him. Maybe something like when you are talking, casually say "You know, I like you. Would you care to go out sometime?". Thats not being forward or anything bad. And you bypass all the guessing and other things that can get in the way.
Put the cards on the table. If he is interested, then he will respond. If not, then you know right away. Good luck! |

My guess, he's interested, but maybe shy or unsure how to approach you. This is the case for me really anyhow. I can strike up a conversation with anyone, but when it comes to asking someone out I'm rather shy. If it was me in his place, I would probably be hoping you take a hint and show me you're interested as well. It wouldn't have to be anything big. Maybe just sit with him and chat for a bit and see where it leads. At the end maybe say something like, "we should do this again sometime" and exchange phone numbers.

He kept looking at you? Any more hints? In all possibilities he could very well be attracted to you, but three hints are better than one. I mean, he could have been looking at something in your general direction or something.
However...who cares if he's interested or not lol If YOU are interested in him, why not flirt him up and ask him out for coffee? If you have confidence in yourself, men will be more drawn toward you. Paint peeling? Is that like scraping old paint off of things in order to put on new paint? That reminds me of some community service I did one summer for an elementary school in California. I think community service would be a great date idea (definitely not first date), but that would also depend on the kind of people. |
