“Christmas is Near”

Holidays are drawing close.
It’s time for the Christmas shows.
Dinners must be planned.
At times we will need a helping hand.
Take time to pick out the tree.
It will be like a hunting spree.
Taking it home and finding the right spot.
Making sure all the decorations are bought.
As we carefully string on the lights.
As we decide what sights.
We will go see.
Then we finally agree.
Soon after we have the tree decorated.
And get the rest of the decorations out of the shed.
It will be time to pile into the car.
It is not very far.
That we must go.
So we can see all the houses aglow.
As we point out the reindeers on one lawn.
Little ones in the back seat begin to yawn
As they dream of Santa Claus.
At one time we had to stop and pause.
And listen to the carolers singing Silent Night.
It was surely a sight.
Traffic was at a crawl.
As we drove off we heard Merry Christmas to All !!!

Beautiful woman, now I only wish I could finally have a Christmas

Hi, Wolf, and Kristi, you know what Kristi, it's too short of a time to this Christmas to hope for that, but maybe you could be right for next year.
Wolf, You could, try to be with Song, somehow...hopefully, oh and I knew the animation would not work for the pic, because we don't have that kind of formatting here, but it still looks lovely, for sure.

I will sit on my window sill and hope for those big gigantic flakes to fall, that will be my Christmas, then go for a walk along the trail and take sight of a reindeer, in the thick of the snow.

Covington I remember those days and when mine were little many moons ago mine are now grown but heheh got me a grandbaby to share those moments with now well honest New Years has not always been my favorite its a couples thing to me and well would look funny taken a blow up man with me so I normally stay home and enjoy watching the ball drop on tv and have a drink there heheh or at my brothers with them.

I have too many damn songs, hehe. I should just keep on posting them to see what people say. You are right. I should try to enjoy the holidays but I am single and I don't have much money. I do have health and a job so I guess that is a start! I actually wrote a song about the true meaning of Christmas. I should find it and post it. It's more of a commercial bashing.

Shssssh now I'm single and still enjoy the holidays yeah would be sweet to find that one that makes you smile as well as you do them but all in due time. It will happen just must keep the faith.

Darn, I must have thrown out that Christmas song I wrote! It was so true! Why did I throw it out? Oh well. I will try to keep the faith, txs.

We must always keep the faith it is up to each of us how our lives end up if we put out negative thoughts that is all we will recieve in return.
