I shake my head
and cringe as
I listen to you
chatter and spew
of cherubs
and angels dancing
round your bed~
your bright eyed tales of the
miracles you've achieved,
the tarnished tin halo you've
glued onto your head
as you paint by numbers a portrait
of fantastical dreams you've conceived~
and I cringe inside as I hear your words
flowing like a river of sewage,
I know you've lied and its so absurd
that you think we've bought into it~
but I'll listen quietly
as you spew your river
and try to color coat
your blackened heart
cause I know what you've done
and the things you've said
and the people you've torn apart~
i know you're self manufactured
you're not the real thing
you're vicious nature lingers

but clear enough
