Wasn't going to comment....
No disrespect to you Dat... I never really looked for a soulmate? As far as I can tell, there is no Soul Mate for me? I'm weird, strange, different, unique. Even if I found someone I might consider a soul mate, they probably wouldn't like me? What I look for is a compliment mate. The woman that causes me to think where I haven't thought. She shows me things I haven't seen. She makes me consider things I have not considered and causes me to think in ways I never imagined to think. She expands my horizons, makes me more than what I would be by myself. |

When I left college, from teenager to adult men, I decided to give up looking for soul mates. We all changed a lot after we grew older.

I would have to echo that I've never been 'looking' so much as 'open to'.
As I get older though, what I am 'open to' is much less eager to be a part of a couple, and the work that comes with it, and more interesting in finding meaningful relationships, on any level. |

hey Cat....just joined and I totally relate to you giving up already. Every single message I've gotten is from fakes.
Just turned 59 (don't know how that happened?) and divorced a couple of years now. Dating ain't what it was before I got married, that's for sure. Guess I want to chat with someone for a while, instead of trying to convince them to give me a chance only to find out its some fat guy at a computer in Ghana. I find you quite attractive and can only assume that all the boys in Idaho are stupid. |

I don't believe everyone has a soulmate. I gave up a long time ago. I'm about to myself |

I married 1st husband when I was 18 & he was 22 -- lasted 11 years. alone 17 years. Married 2nd man when he was 28 and I was 46... lasted 23 years. now have been alone for 6 years -- Age doesn't enter into it for me.
