I was watching a movie and he asked her "If you could have one thing in this world what would it be?" The question struck me and kept thinking about it all day. Do we really know what we want? After much thinking I concluded that although I want many things I would choose "Peace". That peace prevails the world , no wars, no terrorism, no hatred, no violence, no discrimination, no injustice, no conspiracies just Peace. Peace with the world and most importantly peace with myself. What about you do you know the one thing you would want?

Omnipotence. With that I could give myself infallibility and omniscience. Do we really know what we want?
Yes. Albeit not consciously. And there's a hierarchy that depends on a lot of things. The problem is the world isn't set up to immediately give it to us without any risk or cost. That peace prevails the world , no wars, no terrorism, no hatred, no violence, no discrimination, no injustice, no conspiracies just Peace.
You ever read the story about the monkey's paw? I can think of a lot of things that can go wrong there. |
