Yes, vw used to make the engine but it was pulled out due to emissions problems, I think cat has the contract now, they are using the d9 engine for the more experienced people! |

I've worked on many trucks while the engines were running.
I worked on a Raygo Roller once. I was the inspector that determined the nights workload and had to go out and inspect the line for driver write ups and additionsl repairs during PMs. One thing about the Raygo Roller with the Sheeps Foot roller was that you can set the frequency of the vibration on a dial, that does different rates of compacting on different substrates. At a certain frequency the machine gives a man an instant erection. Everytime I would fire up that damn roller I was presented with instant wood. The thing is, at that specific vibration frequency, there is no substrate compaction application. The drivers would come in at the end of the day, set the vibration and sit there for awhile. Then, they would shut it down and head home, forgetting to return the setting to normal. Edit To Add: Now when I fire that baby up to bring it up to the shop I am left with a "Problem" at the beginning of a shift in a shop with all men and no women. So, YES, There are physical benefits to vibration plates but only under certain circumstances. |

and as i predicted imaginations ran wild lol i have one that is not that heavy duty and can only be used on a limited time. it shakes out all my thoughts and worries away. now if it can only shake out all the excess fat in all the right places then it would be perfect.
