I realise that there are conflicting views of Mexico but what a terrible event they are going through, more than 250 dead and children still trapped under the rubble of a school.
I've not noticed any other posts on this topic so I thought I'd run this.
That's my view on that bit and this is my first thought that prompted me to post comments.
Where are all the god botherers? Those who are always preaching in other threads of how great he is and loves everyone regardless?
Maybe the Mexicans don't have the correct insurance policy with the big man?

Mexico City Was Built on an Ancient Lake Bed.
That Makes Earthquakes Much Worse.

I was reading about this last night. Watched a live youtube broadcast on it.
Its a terrible tragedy but a reminder of the reality of mother nature. Life is insignificant to nature.

As a civilized world we should assist these people in recovering from this event.
Yet, on live chat, there is a message of hate and intolerance.
Watch any live stream of any event and it is full of hate and intolerance.

Someday, as a planetary civilization, we may be intelligent enough not to occupy natural danger zones like fault zones, volcano zones and hurricane zones. Until we gain that knowledge and ability to build disaster proof structures we as a people on this planet should help one another.

While I am not in a position to actually provide assistance, I respect those that are and sympathize with those affected.
