Ok, a spade, is a spadesurprised

Really? Cuz where I come from we call that a shovel, and when I'm playing cards spades don't just become wild cards. Maybe its more the pot calling the kettle black? Have to be careful tho cuz somehow people may twist those into being racist.

Ms. Harmony

My good friend i think universal insurance is a good thing. I think Americans often used to paying high premiums and insurance so by nature people are skeptical. But once it kicks in they see we can all benefit from this.

EyeAm I really see the benefit in public health, as health costs rise so high under 'private' companies that gouge and abuse and serve mostly the better off instead of some of those who need it most.

I do not trust 'corporate' with my health, but I would like a system where people pay into taxes, like they do for school or roads, to ensure some of the modern necessities are covered in our communities.

I do not know enough about the candidate to back her for President,,lol. Id have to know ALOT more about other ideas and experience to go that far.

But yeah, a tax system that includes healthcare the way it includes military might,, would be nice.
. Are you kidding, yes insurance cos. raise prices go premiums, surprise! But the increases were small com paired to obamacare. My premiums went up 300%, so I had to drop coverage, thank you Obama .and all I need to know about kamala Harris is she's a far left liberal so no way she should ever run this country. But I guess she would be no worse than Hillary or Elizabeth warren or Bernie

you dropped it, but it wasnt your only option for insurance, it just wasnt the price you wanted to pay

there are some who need care and cant afford the care they NEED, I would not mind seeing that change.

Change what? There are a lot health care programs for the poor.
Medicaid being the largest.

medicaid is an income based program, with premiums based on your inome, and it does not cover ALL types of care

not always...people with disabilities get everything for free...my blind ex never paid a dime while having 4 kids

California's healthcare will be great for everyone. Even illegals will get free care. It's going to be wonderful as soon as they can increase every ones taxes. They got to find an extra 2.5 billion somewhere.ohwell

they have as diverse of opinions as anyone

When I was there and when I was married to a Brit, most I spoke to were quite pleased with it and didn't understand why it wasn't that way everywhere.

was your blind ex working? if so, their payments were also income based and if they werent working that explains why they paid nothing.

Take from the rich and give it to the poor, problem is the middle class is always the ones that really ends up paying for it. Take from the middle class til they are poor!

I am for universal health care for everyone, everyone that pays into it.
The cost to each would be based on income, but everyone should pay.
No free loaders

the only problem i have with any of it is the deductibles...500 a month and 5000 deductible has never made any sense to me, they still get all your cash no matter what...

can i have door number 4 please?

let's get the insurance companies AND the fed out from between doctors and patients.

best set up i ran across was my hsa before the current system gutted it. i only had to deal w/ insurance coverage for catastrophic events

HSA, is that the health savings account where you pay and build up
money to cover common medical expenses? Those seem to work, or did.
The deductibles are way to high too. What ever happened to to
Tort reform?

yep being self employed and a one man shop i may have had a bit more options but yes the big deductibles were only applicable to the catastrophic insurance needed to go with the hsa.

the hsa it self for me allowed tax deferred contributions and anything for care of me was an acceptable withdrawal if i don't run it out by the time i retired i could also start drawing on it like an ira.

the current system gutted what are acceptable withdrawals and severely changed the contribution levels
