You see rabbit has no lack of praise for God, on the contrary he realizes that God is far more majestic than a single petty bigoted religion.

I feel much the same way. People often say that I'm somehow belittling "their" God when I dismiss the Bible as having been written by man.

The first issue they are mistaken about is the idea that they own God.

The second issue that they are mistaken about is the idea that suggesting that the Bible was written by men belittles God. On the contrary, the Bible itself belittles God. It makes God out to be a jealous arrogant ignorant judgemental pig.

I have very oftened expressed my distain of the way in which the Bible is used.

It was written as a tool by which to teach the masses, the same thing. There was not to be any measure of interpretation required.

Its corruption and hense the minds that are influenced by that corruption is how it it was used.

If the bible is infallible, if it is without error than is so for Everyone. Obviously that is not the case.

Therefore, one can only surmise that the Bible is a tool meant to serve each on an individual basis. Its purpose can ONLY be to guide the course of ones life in accordance to the understanding 'granted' to an individual by the Holy Spirit. In which case NO ONE can 'assume' to shed that light for others.

That would make doctrine/dogma a fallicy, and 'teaching' and 'bible class' nothing more than a brain washing experiment, and an effort to 'control' a population.

In my eyes that make fundamentalists the most evil aspect of any religion, for they are the corruptors of the mind and the spirit.
