why is it so hard to find a perfect match?

Maybe coz perfect doesn't exist...

The perfect it.s so difficult words and you could not find the perfect in any things (human .animals .machine and any branches) because every day change another day so it,s very difficult to find the perfect except one how create every things and he change and never exchange ...
The match are some things refer to the chemistry and genes of both couple or may be there souls company each other on other world and time from the past and that you could seen on your,s dreams or what we said love from first look >>>>

you will all ways have different ideas, outlooks, etc etc etc between 2 people

even family members raised by the same parents have different outlooks, idea's , etc etc etc

only perfect is in the movies or books
and thats cause they cut all the other parts out
