“Here to Stay”

Upon these pages I write.
These words are not out of spite.
They are here to invite.
And to give a little incite.

You see we all want it to be.
A kind of love we can agree.
That will always be there for me.
But we know there is no guarantee.

Mountains we would climb.
And learn to turn on a dime.
We no longer speak of a nursery rhyme.
And to want love is no crime.

We will stand up tall.
Your name we will call.
We will knock down that wall.
And catch you if you fall.

We will do all of this.
To show that love exists.
And show you what you miss.
As we leave upon your lips a kiss.

But you must come our way.
And realize we are not here to play.
And we want go away.
We will be here to stay.
