Yes my wife called you, Yes we were still legally married when you and I met. We were however separated and not living together very often and divorce was the plan all along, but she kept digging deeper for a reason to pin on me of why things went wrong. Your not the only one she has called recently. She tells everyone the same somber story or woes me and pretends to be nice and sweet so people totally take her side, which people have until I was able to tell my side of the story. I have been putting out fires she has started with people for months now. The truth is there was never anything there to begin with, I got married cause it felt right at the time and I got alot of pressure from family and friends to do so. I had doubts about her even from the first date we went on. For 4 years I held back telling her that and pretended everything was ok, but it wasn't. We never had a good connection or spark, and we argued way too much. Sure you will say the same thing everyone else does and that is I should have said something before and been honest with her. Well honestly I was afraid to cause I knew it would crush her and I don't like doing that to people. Sure it was wrong, but that's the way I am. But I messed that up and I take responsibility for my actions.

What really surprised me is that you automatically took her side cause your holding some grudge against me still, and that hurt. You said your always good at reading people well your way off on this one Amber, last night she stormed by my place and was throwing dishes and a fork at me among other things, that should tell you something. And you know it hurts to watch her do this cause I care about her well being and want her to be happy with someone who she can connect with. She just keeps making this harder than it really is. The last couple of months I have been really nice to her and we had a good friendship vibe going on which was cool, cause she would be a great friend but now she is taking advantage of that. And Amber when I met you I never intended to get that involved with you, you were fun to talk to and I really needed that, just someone cool and down to earth, and of course one thing led to another and I am sorry for putting you through that and not being honest to you. But it was a breath of fresh air that I was craving so much. This whole thing is like a Greek tragedy, I did all the wrong things for love and I ended up getting burned for it in the end, which I had coming, yes I deserved everything I have brought upon myself. But still deep inside I know the kind of person that I am and I don't need you, my wife or anyone else to tell me that. I will always defend my soul to those who accuse me. I am not even sure why I am typing this or trying to justify anything but I still have a bit of respect for you. Well again sorry that she involved you in this.

Some guys can be deceitful at times to try and boost their own egos. If this person knew that his marriage was over or in jeapordy, he should have been more opoen with you and told you at the start.
Any other lady here will and should know that guys like this aren't worth the bother.
Better just to try and forget about and move on.
