Ok, when I bake and need yeast, I make it in warm water (approximately 100F). Of course to do that, I have to watch it carefully, moving from heat to cool then back again to try and keep the temperature constant.
Anyone have a good way to do it where I can keep the temperature constant? Thanks everyone... Have a great day. |

hot tap water or put it in a pyrex measuring cup
nuke it for a few seconds but it should NOT be scalding hot sprinkle your yeast over it and give it a few minutes to bubble then mix it into your flours |
