It seems that in this country that if there's even one lump of coal in your snowdrift, you are black. thats not a new phenomenon in the 19 century they had some ridiculous system to decide if one was "black enough to b a slave" it was like 1/8 black= slave Nowdays it seems that people r as eager as they can 2 prove themselves not to b white, its amazing how people will say "oh im one quarter cherokee" Funny how predjudices shift over centuries |

That was enough to scare me into not admitting who I was. It wasn't until I grew up and used my own head to distinguish the difference. All I knew was white, black and brown. I knew Indians to be mass murderers, ignorant. I knew the same of Germans. That to be white was superior. I am now proud to say I am German and Cherokee. Apparently so are many others. So, it isn't as obvious as it seems. It isn't now chic to be either of those nationalities. For some it is a matter of pride. Kat |

it doesnt matter how white Obamas mom is ,all that matters is he is percieved as Black. Why do you think Oprah is there.I am not voting for either of them.I find in this country people vote either by what the polls say or gender or color. No one wants to vote for a loser.I'm voting for Ron Paul or Kermit.

what was the question again? this has turned into a colorful post....like fanta said who cares about color? what does it matter or gender? what we need is the person in office whom will run our country right... the one whom can do the best job....... he has a great point..... i would so love to have a female president.... however..... i just cant vote hillary myself...... some see her as strong..... not i, i see her as weak..... good topic fanta! once again

No. Color shoud not be any factor at all. Just why can't we get the straight story from the media? Just give people accurate information and let each person decide what's important. |
