Preach it Igor!

Finatical people take mental/ethical instability to a whole new level. I hadn't even thought of that.

And what you said makes sense about lines being drawn on an individual basis and situation as opposed to generally.

As "Norms" are redefined, and boundaries are increasingly being removed toward a more inclusive society,is there any line between alternative life choices and mental /ethical instability ?

Society is set up in a way that you can be or do almost anything you want.

People have changed their skin color, their gender, sexual orientation, surgically altered themselves to look like animals , started religions in which they appointed themselves as God , developed every sexual fettish under the sun including encounters with inanimate objects and animals, etc ... and for the most part, these decisions are only deemed mentally/ethically unstable if someone is killed or severely injured in the process.

Question

In such a fluid society,is there any line between alternative life choices and mental /ethical instability?

I believe there are ... differences ... Like banging your head literally against something hard like someone had said before ...is under great mental stress ...
sometimes you have to be around someone who is mentally challenged...to understand the severity of someones brain ... this mainly fanatical people take mental/ethical instability to a whole new level
they are either known for killing someone or them selves... but I guess it can lead to judgment of what ever someone does different then another ... that is why you hear about judgement day or only one or spirits will judge you ...

I ve actually worked with the mentally ill before Mystical. the shock for me was that most of them were acting like any of the people I knew who were not institutionalised . And I know there are higher levels of insanity with extreme volatile behaviors to match.

Hi Mystical. Yes.Its very easy to stand in judgment . Im admittedly guilty of it.But in an increasingly fluid society ,I realise that it is becoming a moral dilemma to hold tight to my personal core values while accepting a world that is also entitled to the power of choice that I am.
