This is partially logical. The thing missed with it, is that the attacks we have seen recently, have all been by people who were already here for a very long time. None of them would have been prevented by a travel ban or whatever you want to call it.

I also suggest that the problem is NOT "muslim," it's more accurately described as "nuttism." The attacks we've seen here have not been due to the fact that the miscreants were Islamic, they have been due to the fact that they were mentally ill. That includes that horrible person out West, who murdered two non-Muslim people because he wanted to ATTACK Muslims.

The thing is, if you want to deal with a problem, unless you accurately recognize what exactly it is,you are just going to make it worse, not better.

We are luckier in the UK compared with the rest of Europe, having the English channel helps. You can walk from the middle east to France, we kept our border so even though we are in the European union (we are leaving now ) everyone has to go through passport control to get to the uk.
