I have 8 of them. I love them all. But a 4 year old girl just melts my heart. Is it wrong to pick a favorite?

it may be kind of natural to have better 'chemistry' based upon temperament and interests,, but never say so out loud

I agree completely. Even with children the same applies. Be careful not to let them know you have a fav although the other grandkids will notice it.
