Ok guys, putting aside the fear that someone will steal your tagline

what's your BEST and most clever line when you meet a gal you like?

it doesn't have to be some cliche line that you use repeatedly, it can be something you actually said that worked to sweep the gal off her feet...

In our everyday life, we meet different kinds of people everywhere we go and how we deliver an opening line to start a conversation matters on how we can draw the attention of a particular person. Getting the attention and interest of a person is a bit difficult sometimes especially a total stranger. But with a warm smile and a friendly tone of voice when you deliver the line also matter. Most of the time our opening line starts with excuse me, Hi, hello , may i, can I or questioning WHAT, WHO, WHY, WHEN, WHERE, HOW pertaining to weather, the present situation/events/news (social , environmental or political issues) , about the person or we just deliberately deliver a direct line of what we notice about the person or the surrounding trying to engage someone in a casual conversation. Such as:
- hi , good morning! how are you? happy
- May I know what time is it now?
- excuse me, can you please help me where is the road going to ..... I think I'm lost.
- the weather is great today, isn't it?
- Gosh, it's so hot today...hi, I'm _ _ _ _ , how are you?
- I hate rainy days, don't you?
- Excuse me, is somebody sitting on this chair? Is somebody with you? Would you mind if I can have this chair? Or can I share a table with you, it seems hard to find a vacant table....
- excuse me, you look familiar to me....
- do I know you? I think we've met before...
- Hi, are you heading to Manila too? Hi, I'm _ _ _ , I'm going Manila toohappy

Too many opening lines depending on the situation. happy

i once complimented a woman on the smooth sensuous
luxurious feel of the dress she was wearing....

she sighed, rested her head on my chest and pulled
me in a little closer as i continued to guide her across the
dance floor in her shoulder-to-waist backless evening gown..shades

Yesterday while I was at my favourite watering hole, a conversation was struck up between myself and this dude who I have seen and also spoken to on another occasion while there. ..during this conversation, he says to me.. 'that's a nice phone you have there' - do you know what would look good on that phone?' 'No', I say... 'my phone number' he says..

I am just telling y'all because I thought it was rather clever.. feel free to use it.

Just recently I pulled a line on a woman at the grocery store.
She was placing product on pegs on a display and she looked like she was working her butt off.

I walked up to her and said, "It must be hard work"
She replied with "yes, it is".
I said "no, being so cute like that, you make it look easy."

She stopped and a weird look came over her.
She told me that nobody has said anything like that to her in a very long time. She touched my hand and smiled graciously.

Now, I just thought she was cute. She had a wedding ring on but she was just so damn cute I had to let her know.

I say things like that to people all the time.

That line would melt me for sure tom :)
