So I went shopping yesterday at a local mall for a new winter coat. Not exactly easy to try on a coat when u have a "soft cast" on your left arm! It might have been better if i could move my elbow but I found a great deal on a coat. The upside is that I had a very attractive saleswoman helping me in and out of the various coats that I tried on! So I guess Black Friday was a good day for me. How about u? Did u find any great deals? Did u brave the shopping madness?

NO NEVER HAVE, but I've worked on Black Friday for the last 2 years at the mall and it sucked. People are WAY to rude that day.

People were actually very nice to me yesterday.

I stayed home... I'll probably start my shopping around December 23rd as usual....

i worked it, and it ran VERY smoothly...everyone was chipper and happy and polite...and we only had one worker get trampled.

in fact, i wish our customers were always that happy...i mean, seriously, it was four in the morning, and they couldn't have been more patient.

Yeah I headed out later in the morning just to see if there was anything that I couldnt live without and everything was quick and friendly. I even hit one store and bought a couple of items on sale (thought one was gonna be $20 being as it was 40 but 50% off and it ended up being on clearance for $7.99!!) Luckily I was not looking for electronics or anything like that though as the checkout line at this store was 2 hours. I hate to think what the others were.......I'm glad that everyone was laughing and having fun though.
