if tomorrow starts without you
and yourn ot there to see if the sun should rise and find my eyes all filled with tears for you you wish i wouldnt cry the way i did today while thinking of many things to say i know how much you loved me as much as i love you i know you think of me too but when tomorrow starts without you i try to understand that an angel came and called your name and took you by the hand and said your place is ready in Heaven far above and that you have to leave behind all those you dearly loved but when i turned to walk away a tear fell from my eye for all my life, id never thought you would never die you had so much to live for so much left for us to do but when you walked thru heavens gate i know you felst so much at home when GOD looked down and smiled at you from his great golden throne he said ,"this is eternity and all ive ever promised you today is your life on earth is past but here life starts anew i promise there is no tomorrow but today will always last and since each day is the same way you have been so faithful so trusting and true thought there were times you did some things you knew you shouldnt do but you have been forgiven and now at least you are free so wont you come take my hand so when tomorrow starts without you dont think we are far apart for everytime i think of you you are right here in my heart. for both my parents who passed away in 2002 within months of each other. i wrote this poem when i was at my worst....Lisa |

thank you all for taking time to read this poem, i cry every time i write it down. it took me a long time to get the words the way i wanted them to be, and how i felt. I know mom and dad is in a better place now but that does not stop the pain in my heart. indianfeather2007@yahoo.com

That was beautiful angeleyes.
It makes me want to cherish the moments I still have w/ my parents. I had my children and my parents for dinner lastnight and i told them all how much i really am thankful for them. Too many times we take for granit that we exist, and we never know when our time will be up. Thank you for that beautiful poem. May God be with you and continue to help you through this grieving process. It's not easy.... |
