well alto of guys want to have there own kids I would like to have kids but if she had kids I would love them as I would their mother. If I did marry the lady and the kids were still young and if their dad's didnt want to have anything to do with them then I would adopt them. If the lady didn't want to have3 more kids then i would be the best step dad around. |

I say I would date a woman with kids, but in reality, I don't know if I could handle it. I just wouldn't want to get too close, and the relationship not work out, and the kids to get hurt as well. the chance you take.. |

Just saw this post, haven't read the others on this topic yet but I did want to say.. As as single dad trying to date, I was very surprised how many women I have come across (some even with kids o.O) that don't want to date a guy with kids.

I find that there is nothing wrond with dating someone with kids. I dated a guy that had a daughter once and u learn alot about the person that way. I myself now am pregnant with a child and im only 20 so i still would like to date someone When my late stepdad met my mother my mother was pregnant with my little brother. He later married my mother and adopted me my brother and my sister. So you will find that man who will love and and your child. |

Like everything else, I think some people are more suited for this than others.
I dated a few women with kids when I was younger, and I would absolutely never do that again. I just have no interest in, nor aptitude for, being a parental figure, or for being involved with a parental figure. And it has nothing to do with the fact that they were "somebody else's kids" -- I don't want any of my own, either. Ever. Period. |
