Just wondering if anyone here was into dancing, not like bumping and grinding in the club but really trying to learn.

I'm trying to learn how to pop. The first time I saw it I was just amazed, the waves, the hitting, strobing. Only started practicing the past few monthes though.

wondering if there's any other aficionados out there hip hop, bboy, jazz anything.

I like the liquid dancing moves...the flows are artistic, so the kitchen floor and cooking is when this mama is found practicing hand rails, flows and waves.... plus makes for good giggle material for my 5 year oldlaugh

I love the movie Take the Lead where they mix classic with hip hop and the music rocks too happy

Not bad for a white girl in her 40s whose dance idol revolved around disco LOL
((Go Travolta LOL laugh laugh ))drinker bigsmile

gdr you can dance to anything, its not all about going out and busting a move. its about the rhythm and spirit you feel, music is not even needed if you feel the true call to dance.'to dance is to feel passion and discipline.

when i teach beginners in class i start with no music whatsoever. this lasts for the first 6 classes. they learn to feel the spirit within before they feel the beat.

She tries, she's rather listen to the hiphop music... but then gets bored and decides I am a moving mountain and starts to climb up... so she can jump down me holding her hands...
Mom = Jungle Gym <--- I think most moms can relate
