I saw you today when I opened my eyes
You were there in my mind
I was caught up in a reverie of days long past

I saw you today as the sun came up
As the new day began
I felt your thoughts of me were nearby

I saw you today as the clouds drifted by
When the world began to change
I was in approbation of time

I saw you today during the setting of the sun
In highlights it hued blue, purple then pink
I felt the warmth of your affection wrap around me

I saw you today when I closed my eyes
You were there in my mind

I saw you today,in your velvet robe,
so I kissed your ear,nibbled your lobe,
when you made breakfast,kids off to school,
you knew right then, th'day was gonna be cool,
I saw you today,from my hearts True,
when I looked in your eyes,th' true you,
you hold me tight,within your sight,
feeling our loves true,
I saw you today,
when you were seeing me,
looking back thru times too,
remembering games,funny names,
kids and puppy dogs too,
now th' kids are grown,
we're on our own,
I saw you today,
when we were alone,
when you said,
I Love You True...
