"Cole" comes in with his Helper Dog to my favorite breakfast place. EVERYONE who knows speaks more distinct and shows him to his booth.
Eventually even the tourists get it and join in with accommodation. Thus inspires me. Edit:...and I LOVE "Feisty"....You're not supposed to make attachments to helper dogs, but everyone in town does. Screw Rules <3 |

Great topic!!!!
I am constantly reminded of kindness each and everyday. Whether it is a soft viuce being spoken to someone that is a bit stressed. The holding of the door patiently while someone is going through. Someone slowing down and coming to a stop to let ducklings cross a road. To pick just one act of kindness is too hard!!!! I am reminded constantly that one small thing can change a persons day. |

Walking through the City Centre with my daughter a couple of months ago we saw a homeless guy sitting on the floor with his little dog and without saying a word my daughter dropped £3 (about $5) into his begging bowl.
I know it's not a lot but her compassion made me so proud. She's still quite young and a student so it's not like she has money to give away. |

I saw something on tv the other day about an entire community that learned sign language when a deaf person moved into the neighborhood
|

This winter I watched a man use his credit card to rent a condo for a homeless veteran for a week during the coldest time of the year.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|

My Niece used to collect stickers for her school folders. She told me once, "Uncle Joel, I really dislike that sticker *Mean People Suck*.. Mean people don't suck, They're just HURT! I wept. |
