Everything goes up the day after Thanksgiving!
It takes me awhile to decorate because I have so much! Be weird this year since I am staying with my daughter...

When the kids were little, I always waited till about the middle of December. We always made a big deal out of going to choose the tree, and everyone helped decorate.
Now that the kids are grown, I finally broke down and used an artificial tree last year, so I put it up earlier. I don't think I'll do that this year though. I start to get bored with it if it's up too long. The magic seems to go away when you need to dust the ornaments! |
