I had to look it up. Did not find Mel Brooks in the cast. Although I'm sure he loves this movie and wishes he was in it.

Well it looks like we found a few fans. Anybody who hasn't seen this movie should.

Don Knotts....If I remember correctly, Phil Silvers stole his car.

Yes Phil Silvers stole his car..Actually said he was in the FBI or something if I remember right. Here's another. Ethel Merman...lol

Peter Falk...Yes, I remember.

Spencer Tracy told them all to get in those 2 cabs and go turn themselves in. Ethel Merman was a hoot, too. And Who was that guy that played her whacko son? He looked sorta like Jethro from the Beverly Hillbillies.

I am watching the movie at this moment. It is on Turner Classic Movies. Man, the line up of stars in this movie is unreal. I am still trying to figure out who plays Ethel Mermans son. I can almost identify him, but just can't place him. He sounds like Frankie Avalon, but not sure. Can someone answer this question???? I am enjoying this, because it has been a long time since I have seen this. Jimmy Durante was a classic. Too bad he had such a short part in the movie. There were a lot of cameo appearances in this movie. Enjoy.....

Okay, thanks sheepdog. Isn't it aweful you can't even say that name on here?

Glad you knew who it was. I would've never guessed it.

Jimmy Durante's part was brief but memorable. Now turn on your Jimmy Durante voice for this- "It's under a big W".

And Mickey Rooney for another one.

I noticed that. I was so surprised at all the people that were in that movie. Last night is the first time I actually got to see the whole movie. Is was so funny. Jonathan Winters has always been one of my favorites too. Poor thing had to ride that bicycle. Phil Silvers was greedy wasn't he? lol

Classic of all movies.
