A match is determined by what you're looking for, the site matches you with someone who may fit your requirements ie, blonde, non smoking etc.
Maybe contact the site before you go.

I have been here since 07 and match has always been this way. It is nothing more than a fun way to meet people. The option to view matches was added when the premium package came along.

Most of my matches seem to be from young women who also haven't viewed my profile. I mailed some of them to see why they matched with me. Universal reply is to talk to them on Skype. Instantly get blocked :)

Profiles don't have to be viewed for a match.

In the match screen, it brings up a user close to what your search settings may be set. On that screen is generally the user's main profile picture, and where there from, along with age, interests, (if any listed) and the blurb or about me section ( if filled in).
Yes, maybe, and no are options.

If they click maybe, it is shown as they match to you.

You can play mutual match. On your account page, scroll down to mutual match. 

Click rate some people. We'll show you a slideshow of potential matches. The people who clicked yes on you, are mixed in with other users. Go through them clicking yes, no or maybe. 

If you click yes or maybe on someone, and they have also clicked yes on you, you will have a mutual match and both users will receive notification. 

Premium users can see exactly who said yes. 

*note, you must have a photo to use mutual match.

Son of Asaph, by the way great tag! A seer that served King David. The Family of Asaph was so talented that David's son King Solomon dedicated a post to them as priests in the Levi priesthood.

Sorry bout that, Hebrew studies in college was so much fun. The match in my opinion, is a way to meet folks walking in the door. It might be disheartening to many if you signed up with a dating service and after 6 months, no one shows an intrest.

We would all like to have tons of email waiting for us...reality is somewhat more direct. I hope you will see me point and join us in the forums. We're always looking for intresting folk to throw ideas at!
